As an extension of the Fête du Cheval, ALMA is organising a lecture-reading session based on a book published in 1890 entitled "Les courses de chevaux en France" by Albert de Saint-Albin (1843-1901). Under this pseudonym hides a man of the theatre and a sports columnist, who was editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Le Jockey" and was behind the founding of the Jockeys' Hospital in Chantilly. In other words, he was well introduced to the world of racing in its early days!
